Hello Close Knitters, Fall is busy! I feel invigorated in the fall as the weather changes. we send kids back to school, and we think of cozy activities close to home. Knitting and crochet feel right this time of year! Here is our Fall schedule for classes. Hope you find something to peak your interest! We have Knitting talent in Portland, Oregon! Two book signings coming up real soon from our favorite local designers, Leigh and Chrissy. BE INSPIRED by two new books on the shelves and come meet the talent behind the publications. Leigh and Chrissy will have samples to show off too!
We have some great new arrivals in the shop. Great stuff, come see! I'll mention a few highlights to peak your interest so you get the picture. New Rowan books with great new yarn "Lima" and expanded "Sheep Breeds" line, Jared Flood's new book "Made in Brooklyn" and all the Classic Elite yarns he uses, "St. Denis Nordique" yarn and a great new pattern book to support this great basic yarn that features Veronik Avery, Ysolda Teague and many more, all of Norah Gaughan's new designs with the gorgeous Berroco yarns, Blue Sky Alpaca's new oh-so-cute line of yarn "Spud and Chloe", full cabinets of Misti Alpaca, and Manos, Debbie Bliss, Cascade, Brown Sheep, and sooo much more!! We will send you a notice of a couple book signings by our favorite local designers this fall. Leigh Radford will be here to sign her new publication, "One More Skein" on October 3rd and Chrissy Gardiner will be signing her new book "Toe-Up" on Ocober 2nd. More details to come!
