Dear Close Knitters,
Hope you all come see us at the "Sock Summit" August 6th-9th. We will be at the Portland Convention Center August 6th-9th for this huge yarn extravaganza. Look for us in booth 214. We will be featuring Misti, Punta Yarns, Fibre Company, and Offhand Design bags and needle cases.
Also, in the store, we will have two book signings. Friday, August 7th at 11:00, Judy Sumner will be signing her new book, "Knitted Socks East and West". Her fabulous new book features thirty new sock designs inspired by stitch patterns from Japan.
Meet local designer Larissa Brown Saturday, August 8th at 11:00. Her book,"Knitalong, Celebrating the Tradition of Knitting Together" is one of our favorite books of late! Bring your copy to sign, or pick one up at Close Knit!
