We are working to get that fall schedule done but want to tell you of a special guest
coming Tuesday, September 4th.
Iris Schreir, owner and designer of Art Yarns and author of "Exquisite Little
Knits" and "Modular Knitting",is spending a couple hours with us from 7-9pm. We are knitting from her
new book, "Lacy
Little Knits". The project is The Long Stitch Wrap. For $80, participants will pick two skeins of Silk Rhapsody,
acopy of "Lacy Little Knits" that Iris can sign, and the class!!That feewould only cover the cost of the
yarn on any
other day!
The class is filling fast, but Iris and I decided to open it up to a few more lucky folks. Call Close Knit or come

Our eve last night with Donna Druchunas and her stories of "Arctic Lace" was simply delightful. We
are enjoying the start of a new fiber fancy...Qiviut or Musk Ox. We have a few balls left of this amazing fiber
and are
